The jury members
Yves Peyré – FR
Yves PEYRE (FR/ 1952)
A librarian, he was director of the Jacques Doucet Literary Library in Paris from 1994 to 2006, before becoming director of the Sainte-Geneviève Library from 2006 to 2015. A poet, he has been adorned by Henri
Michaux, Pierre Tal Coat, Zao Wou-Ki, Zoran Music, Bertrand Dorny, Pierre Alechinsky and Loïc Le Groumellec. Member of the scientific committee of the Wittockiana, he also wrote "Peinture et poésie, le dialogue par le livre" in 2001 and a "Histoire de la reliure de création" in 2015.
Kikie Crêvecoeur – BE
Visual artist born in Brussels in 1960.
Works mainly in relief etching on linos and erasers.
Professor of etching and lithography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Watermael-Boitsfort from 1988 to 2021. From 1991 to 2000, taught several courses at the International Summer Academy of Wallonia (AKDT). Member of the artists' collective Razkas and member of the Royal Academy of Belgium, in the Arts class.
Winner of several prizes, including the Prix de la Gravure et de l'Image imprimée from the Communauté française de Belgique in 1989, she regularly exhibits in Belgium and abroad and her work can be found in many public and private collections.
Author of several artist's books in a personal capacity, she is also at the initiative of many collective editions (in particular for her students). Her collaborations with authors are numerous. These include André Balthazar, Michel Bernard, Christine Caillon, Ben Durant, Eddy Devolder, Corinne Hoex, Jacques Izoard, Caroline Lamarche, Bernard Legaz, Serge Meurant, Amélie Nothomb and Colette Nys-Mazur.
Aimé Mpane – CD
Born in 1968 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
A Congolese painter, sculptor, performer and teacher, he divides his time between Kinshasa and Brussels, and his practice is nourished by the back and forth between his native Africa and his adopted Europe.
Aimé Mpane's art deals mainly with the legacy and traces of colonialism in Africa, but the aim of his art is never self-pity.
He appeals to the solidarity of the human race and the collective conscience. His works speak of human dignity, hope, courage, empathy and perseverance.
Numerous exhibitions in France, Germany, Senegal and the United States.
1st prize of the Jean Paul Blachère foundation at the Biennale of Contemporary African Art in Dakar in 2006.
Diana Valarezo – EC
DIANA VALAREZO (Ecuador)
Born in Guayaquil in 1968. Graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Quito, 1st Prize in the National Printing Competition

artist practices engraving, painting, photography and ceramics; a nomad, she lived six years in Beijing
She has lived in Beijing for six years and worked in Senegal, Peru and Burma. She now divides her time between
Belgium and Ecuador.
Philippe Luiggi – FR
Philippe LUIGGI (FR/1957°)
Successor of the Denise Weil bookstore on rue du Dragon in Paris in the 1980s, Philippe Luiggi then joined forces with John Benjamins in Amsterdam, both of whom specialized in the avant-gardes of the twentieth century: Dada, Surrealism, artistic movements up to to Lettrisme and visual poetry. Based in Brussels for fifteen years, he continues this activity there. He has been an expert for the past three years for the Geneviève and Jean-Paul Kahn sales devoted to Surrealism “Mille nuits de rêves”.
