The Last Ducky Supper

This is an etching pressed from two copper plates into Somerset satin paper. All the details and colors were achieved through the printmaking process.
Concept:
The toys, cartoons, and various products given to children are filled with design elements that subtly condition our tiny future consumers. These pop-culture duckies are all real toys made by various companies, which I obtained, took pictures of, then drew in the corresponding poses and positions as seen in the original fresco of the Last Supper. This though, is a consumerism last supper, situated in the aisles of a grocery store.
