This is a story from the middle of lockdown when a lady brought in her dog to be checked because it had a swollen penis. He was very very grumpy, and we were in a small room with no ventilation. She kept telling him in Italian how much she loved him, but he was channeling an enormous, contemptuous rage. It was a difficult day.
Wuon-Gean Ho was born in Oxford. She studied traditional woodblock printmaking in Kyoto on a Japanese government scholarship in 1998 and has been happily making prints, books and films since then. Her work has been awarded numerous prizes and her prints are in the collection of the V&A and British Museum.
