" El sueño real de la verdad cruda"

The process showed in my graphics and wich involves concepts as web as techniques, is to compare with traveling, where the images are current issues. This process also includes the formal lines wich gives structure in space and form to each one of my linocuts. When I talk about graphic image I am thus pointing to an animic and emotional impulse which brings us a graphic script undoubtedly related with poetry. The linocut " El sueño Real de la Verdad Cruda is based in the expressive tradition and aesthetics of grothesque art. In the actual context of global change and economic-social crisis, my horrific imagery in the large linocuts have the intention to connect with human emotion. It can arouse aesthetic or moral feelings, and ca be understood as a way of communicating these feelings. In my conception, the linocut printmaking have a potential expressive that reflects socially relevant issues, very important in the cultural context.
