James Albon was born in a bolt of divine lightning upon the peak of a distant mountain. He was raised by wolves, who taught him the mysteries of life and the way of the forest, which naturally led him to study Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art, and go on to a postgraduate scholarship at the Royal Drawing School in London. He was awarded the Gwen May award from the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers in 2012. He lives and works in Edinburgh.
