The "Guardians" series that I created currently is the guardians of Gods in Taiwan's traditional religion and the protectors of the believers. Therefore, I hope the image of the Guardians will bring some comforting power in the period of the Covid-19 raging. Moreover, through these prints, I hope to capture and record the image of the guardians of Gods in Taiwan's traditional religion.
Peili Huang was born and lived in Taipei, Taiwan. She was focused on creating Mezzotint and Collagraphy & Carborundum printmaking since 2016, and she had been participated in many printmaking exhibitions worldwide.
For her, the Mezzotint skill is the medium to describe the impression of time, and the technique of Collagraphy & Carborundum is the way to express her imagination.
